Spokane Buddhist Study & Meditation via Zoom

Important Announcement:
 
Considering the National Emergency declaration due to COVID-19, the Buddhist Institute in Spokane, WA will join in effort to prevent the spread of this epidemic. We will suspend all our services at the Institute from this Sunday, March 15, until the end of the month. However, we will continue our Friday evening and Sunday morning sessions via Zoom.
Geshe-la will continue his teaching on Shantideva’s Guide to a Bodhisattva’s Way of Life on both Friday night and Sunday morning.
 
Depending on the situation, we will inform you as soon as we are able to resume our services at the temple. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page, or our website www.universalcompassion.org . Please be wise, stay safe until then and remember that good hygiene mixed with wisdom will help to keep this virus at bay.

Join us Friday nights at the Buddhist Institute while we practice meditation, review and reflect on recent Buddhist studies, have open discussion and pray for happiness for oneself and for world peace.

Teachings are presided by the most authentic mentor Ven. Prof. Geshe-la Phelgye, a Tibetan Buddhist monk since 1973. Take the privilege of this rare opportunity.

All services are offered free of charge; however, your generous offerings are much needed for the maintenance of the facility, they are truly appreciated.

Doors open at 6:00PM, please come early to get situated on your cushion or chair.
