Guru Purnima, a special day honoring their precious chosen spiritual guides. Similar to Mother’s and Father’s Day in the West, devotees express their heartfelt gratitude for the invaluable virtues and kindness they get from their Guru (ka-den in Tibetan).

Our Guru’s Guru, His Holiness the 14
th Dalai Lama, turns 85 on
Monday, July 6th. We will celebrate both Geshe-la and His Holiness this Sunday at 10 AM (PDT) with a virtual
tsok offering as its the unbroken lineage of our teachers that leads us back to Buddha himself, our most Supreme Guru.
