Lhabab Düchen (anniversary of Buddha Shakya-muni descending from heaven after liberating his mother and teaching to the gods) is another auspicious occasion that takes place on the 22
nd day of the ninth lunar month, according to the Tibetan Buddhist calendar; which takes place on November 19th, in 2019.
These auspicious occasions inspire us to practice extra Dharma by engaging in various virtuous activities. It is said that all merits created on these auspicious days are multiplied up to one hundred thousand times! What better way to use those merits other than further dedication towards Buddhahood for all beings! And that’s what we do at the Buddhist Institute of Universal compassion.
